Tablemarch - The Tiny War Game

Tablemarch is a simple, flexible wargame system that can be played with minimal equipment: tokens and dice.

Originally a cobbled-together system within my old gaming group made to add some spice to our role-playing games in scenes where players would be commanding large groups of soldiers against equally large groups of monsters,  it eventually became a standalone game we'd play on the side.

The combat system has very simple basis but allows a lot of strategic flexibility. As killing units comes down to simple dice rolls, the game has minimal book-keeping, and printable cards can be easily referenced to keep track of units' statistics and abilities.

The free document contains the core rules needed for a quick game, including 8 sample Unit cards and a sheet with 36 printable tokens to play through a standard 2-player battle. The full document includes the rules for using Items, deploying Terrain, creating your own Units and Items, and running longer term Campaigns, including a sample Campaign to play through.

The free version of the game will also be uploaded to Tabletop Simulator shortly.
